Burger School Christmas Party December 9, 2009
Several members came to meet and greet students. Students came by and thanked us for serving our country. They loved learning how to salute and they also enjoyed asking a lot of questions.

Burger School Christmas Carnival December 11, 2008
AVVA Member and teacher from Burger School Debby Bradley helped to organize a wonderful day for Members of Chapter 528. Chapter 528 has been doing this event for years. Every year Burger School for kids with autism has two special programs in which our Chapter helps out. In the early fall, we sponsor their basketball games. We help referee and pay for the medals and awards. In December, many members come to set up a display of The Vietnam War. Students come over to view and touch the items in our hands-on exhibit. They love asking us questions and learning how to salute. The following members took part in the festivities: Bob Lamoureux, John Fleming, Doug Fox, Vaughn Hull, Bill Boudreau, Don Dignan, Gordy Dorey, Mike Dicker, Bob Humphrey, Ron King, and Tom Brown.
