Well by now most of you would have seen or read about the American singer "Pink" Alecia Moore's concert tours of Australia but many of you wouldn't know that her dad is a Proud Vietnam veteran and a bloody good bloke as well. I've been in contact with Jim for some time now since an Intro by another American Viet nam vet. So as jim's daughter Alecia tours our beautiful country I wanted to share this song that Jim wrote way back in the days of Jungle Greens and what a proud moment it must have been for both Jim & Alecia when she sang her dads song with him on stage. This is really worth opening mates so click and enjoy " I've seen the Rain".

"Hi To My Family and My Friends: I hope you don't mind me sharing this with you. This is the song I wrote part of while in Vietnam and finished at LZ Friendship in, I think 1989?. It was one of the first songs me and Alecia (P!NK) ever sang together when she was little. She told me when she was little that one day when she was famous that she would put this song on her album and she actually did this on her latest album, "I'm Not Dead". The album has been a smash hit and has sold over 9 million albums worldwide. She now has two Grammy's and four multi-platinum albums. This comes from Alecia's latest album's debut party up in New York at a fairly large venue and I can't remember the name of the place. This was done with VH1, MTV and NBC Dateline recording it for their respective shows and can I tell you how nervous I was, plenty. Today, October 26, 2007 was the first time I have ever seen the video, really. It is a song that we dedicated to all Veterans on her album intro and a song I was proud to sing with her. Hey, I thought at first it was terrible but it actually didn't turn out too bad considering how nervous I was. Faked it pretty good. Thanks for sharing this with us. Hope you don't mind me sending it to you. Jim Moore, Vietnam Veteran
