Our responsibility is Joy Road, from Canton Center Road to Haggerty (2.25 miles).

If you’re new to the chapter, you may not know what this is all about. I ask for volunteers beforehand. We meet at the UAW Hall parking lot at the southeast corners of Canton Center Road and Joy Road on Fridays at 8:30 AM. I bring fresh Meijer donuts, give out garbage bags and reflective vests, and we hit the road to pick up the trash along both sides of the road. We usually get done in a little over an hour. Generally we end up at Zack’s Restaurant on Main Street, just south of Ann Arbor Road for great food and camaraderie.
